The PVP minigame

I imagen some type of battle that can be started by the host, in fat princess/battlefield2 style. This something I really wanna do and been thinking on for a while. Asking for help to gather the best ideas for this battle. (it wont be added in release)
This is my current view on it (and it changes every day):
*The host start off the battle in an area, people can join.
*We need something to fight about, maybe three flags (battlefield style) are lined up and the team with less flags will have tickets removed untill they loose. It could also be something that you pushes forward, like a giant fotball. Another idea is to have a fat king with loads of health in each end, killing him will make you win.
*The players could choose different classes with special skill sets.
#Leader/Wizard/Commander
Can place out stuff for the other team members. Like refill/health depo's, guarding monsters, stationary guns, transport veihcles.
#Ranger
Quick, low armour, bow and arrow, fast shooter
#Soldier
Armoured, sword n shield, short range thowing spears
#The miner
Bombs, can quickly dig through ground, place defensive walls

*Ideas for veihcles: Flying Dragon with fire breath, elephant that can rush through walls, ostrich for quick movement

Mage- some sort of mid-ranged AOE attack. Maybe lightning/fire..something elemental.

Ability to heal other party members, would need some sort of cooldown on that to prevent everyone from just tanking all damage while the mage holds down their heal button

powerups-
Automated turret- Attacks players in X range, contra spread gun style

Attack dog- Trails behind the player for a minute attacking anyone coming up from the rear

I think im gonna call the minigame "fat king", i like the idea to stabb a very large king while he slowly slowly tries to flee. Maybe he could be pushed around by his own players to haste.

Been thinking some about the joining process, maybe best is to force everyone to participate. Maybe with a vote down thing if the host starts them to often.

George aka Magik Chicken: make a tower defence game!

having some tower defence type features init isnt impossible
like setting up defence posts and have a monster spawn
will probably have to make much better AI if they are supposed to run through random terrain and find the king
having them just guarding an area or be like pets that follow the players is probably easier

with this PVP being involved, maybe in later additions you can evolve the whole PVP system by adding in obstacle courses, survival mode, some sort of team deathmatch. I have other ideas, but they don't coincide with the PVP feel. But great idea Fabian

The option to either build up your own arena or just let the game generate one would be nice. Question is how to select spawn points and arena size and all that.

In battle field there are UAVs that you can attack with, could do something similar with the RC toys.

Maybe you can also add a simple deathmatch or teamdeathmatch and an option to where you can set how many lives you can have or when its gonna start like the races and even a timer option where you can set the battle time limit for 5 min or unlimted etc. And also maybe an option where you can have zombies in the arena attacking both teams or players. As the battle is taking place.
