harvest moon

Im a big fan of the harvest moon series how the simple gameplay was so addicting taking care of your farm trying to make money to upgrade your farm. Also had a village with npcs that added storyline and you could even have a wife and a son, making more like a life simulater.you could even have a dog and a lot more.

If any of you played any of the harvest moons you're no what I'm talking about.
With all the success that farmville is having and other popular farming games out there you would think a indie dev would take advantage and cash in. Or at least make a arcade farm sim or even full 360 game would be great.

Yeah avatar farm tryed but failed because it didn't have animals and no storyline or anything that made it successfull and fun. I think a harvest moon similar type game would be great as an indie or a arcade. Just do the math with how many people play farm ville.

I never played the HM games much. But an HM type game could definitely make alot of money as an XBLIG, if it was done well. I tried avatar farming but I just found it to be really dull

Not a big fan of the facebook games since they tend to let you play for 5 minutes and then spam your friends list with annoying messages for the rest of the day, so I can't really comment on that lol

farmville doesnt really do that i play it

I can't say I love it, but it's pretty fun, and I'm sure it would sell a lot because of all the extra crap they fit in, it's like a simple Animal Crossing (Even though AC is super simple anyway)
